Breakfast was hearty to start the day, Dinner was very good with good prices, room was very clean and roomy, and plenty of parking with secure lighting. Great location to accomplish several short day trips in the area like seeing the Canterbury Cathedral, a restored Viking ship near Ramsgate. and a medieval castle like Dover Castle.

This was an excellent hotel with proximity to Canterbury Cathedral. Although a 20-minute walk, the walk was through public gardens along the river. It was very pleasant. The rooms were big, comfortable and breakfast good. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Location was very convenient - a 4 minute walk from the Canterbury Bus Station and 3 minute walk from the Canterbury Cathedral. Breakfast selection and food quality was very good - one of the best I have had in a long time. Beds were comfortable and the room was quite large.

The location of the property is ideal! Canterbury Cathedral, The Roman Museum, many charming restaurants and shops are practically on the doorstep. The bus and train stations are within easy walking distance. The house is off a very quiet street, behind another house and a locking gate. The property has character and a cozy electric fireplace. The owner allowed us to check in a bit early. Overall the property was comfortable and a great base to explore Canterbury and take day trips from.

The location is excellent. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores and Canterbury Cathedral. The unit is very modern with nice appliances. Beds were comfortable. George, our host, was very kind and considerate. He picked us up from the train station. He answered all questions promptly and was willing to be flexible with our stay during the train strike.

Really enjoyed our stay in Canterbury Cathedral lodge. Very nice clean hotel with views from your window of the cathedral. Really nice that even after the cathedral grounds are closed to the public, with your key card to your room, you can get access to the cathedral grounds through the main gate to walk as you will. Kind of fun at night after hours. Front desk staff girls were excellent. Very informative and helpful. Had to park off site, but it was a short, easy walk through the interesting city streets. Excellent breakfast.

I couldn't have been closer to the entrance to Canterbury Cathedral, my main attraction. The breakfast was excellent. I DO like a real English breakfast. The room was larger than the average British hotel room--meaning that I could leave my suitcases flat on the floor and still walk around.
